1) Sweepstakes Period: The Bridgestone Rethink Green Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on April 1, 2013 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on April 30, 2013 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). The Sponsor’s clock is the official "timekeeper" of this Sweepstakes.

2) Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S., D.C., and Canada, who are 18 years of age or older (or for Canadian residents, the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence) as of date of entry. Employees of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, Bridgestone Canada Inc. (collectively the "Sponsor"), their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies and advertising and promotion agencies, including Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (the "Administrator"), members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and persons with whom they are domiciled, and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state, provincial, municipal and local laws and regulations apply.

3) To Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.BridgestoneTire.com/RethinkGreen or www.bridgestone.ca/RethinkGreen (the "Website") and calculate your fuel savings using Bridgestone’s Fuel Savings Calculator. If it is the first time you are entering, you must fully complete the on-line registration form. For subsequent entries, you will register by logging in with the email address you provided to us in your registration form. Every time you enter, you will be required to calculate your fuel savings using Bridgestone’s Fuel Savings Calculator.

With each entry, you will receive one (1) chance to win the Grand Prize random drawing, one (1) chance to win the Weekly Prize drawing for that week (and the Weekly Prize drawing for all subsequent weeks, if any) and one (1) chance to win the Daily Prize drawing for that day (and all Daily Prize drawings for subsequent days, if any). All prizes will be awarded after the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Limit one (1) entry per person, per day during the Sweepstakes Period. Each person/household is eligible to win one (1) of each of the Daily Prize, the Weekly Prize and the Grand Prize. More than the specified number of entries from any person or e-mail address will void all entries from that person or e-mail address. Use of computer programs and other automatic means to participate is prohibited. Entries generated by script or both are not eligible. The use of script, macro or automated devices (or any other devices intended to automate or subvert any aspect of participation) to enter is prohibited. If Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines that an entrant has used an automated or similar device to enter or is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules, all entries from that entrant and e-mail address will be void. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service provider will apply. For the purposes of the Sweepstakes, a "day" is defined as a 24-hour period, beginning at 12:00 a.m. ET and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET. For the purposes of the Sweepstakes, a "week" is defined as 12:00 a.m. ET Monday through 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, with the exception of the last week, which is from 12:00 a.m. ET on Monday, April 22, 2013 through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. All eligible entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on April 30, 2013 to be eligible for the Grand Prize random drawing and the last Weekly Prize and Daily Prize random drawings.

4) Prizes and Approximate Retail Values ("ARV"): Grand Prize (1): A 2013 Nissan LEAF™ with one home charging station (charging station installation and maintenance not included) [Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price ("MSRP") of Nissan LEAF™ with one home charging station: USD$36,990.00 (CD$43,400.00)]. Weekly Prize (4): A set of Sponsor-specified Ecopia Tires, awarded in the form of a gift certificate (ARV: USD$730.00/CD$722.34 each). Daily Prize (30): A USD$70.00/CD$70.00 American Express® Reward Card or American Express® Gift Card (for Canadian residents). The currency of all prizes will be based on the winner’s country of residence. Residence shall be based on where the prize winner normally resides at the time of entry as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The odds of winning a prize are dependent on the number of eligible entries received either by the end of each day, each week or overall. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor, except that Bridgestone tires are subject to the manufacturer’s standard limited warranty. American Express Reward Cards and American Express Gift Cards are subject to separate terms and conditions and, except in Canada, expiration dates. The cost of mounting and balancing of tires is extra and the sole responsibility of the Weekly Prize winner. Winners are responsible for applicable federal, state, local, provincial and municipal taxes (if any) and all other costs and expenses associated with their prize not specified herein as being awarded. No transfer, resale, substitution or cash equivalent permitted by winners. Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value should all or any part of a prize become unavailable for any reason. Grand Prize will be awarded with all standard factory features. Sponsor will determine all specifications of Grand Prize automobile including, but not limited to, color of exterior and interior, and all other non-standard features or upgrades will not be permitted. Grand Prize winner must have an appropriate amount of space where they can store/park their car in order to install the charging station required for vehicle. Winner must be a U.S. or Canadian licensed driver and will be required to provide proof of valid U.S. or Canadian driver’s license and legally-required insurance at time of delivery and otherwise meet all eligibility requirements contained in these Official Rules. Grand Prize winner is responsible for title, applicable taxes (including without limitation any incremental income taxes and any sales tax), license, registration, dealer preparation costs, auto insurance and other fees associated with prize. Sponsor shall not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any property loss, damage, personal injury, or death, in connection with the prize provided pursuant to the Sweepstakes and/or any person’s participation in the Sweepstakes. Winner must take delivery of prize from the automobile dealership designated by Sponsor which in Canada, is most cases will be the Nissan dealer closest to winner’s residence. Sponsor shall not be responsible for delays in delivery of the prize vehicle, and delivery is subject to availability. Sponsor, however, shall use reasonable efforts, subject to availability, to deliver the vehicle to the Sponsor-designated delivery dealer within one hundred eighty (180) days of completion of verification process. Winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to the vehicle after it has been delivered to the winner. Winner must personally retrieve their vehicle within thirty (30) days of written notification of delivery or he/she will lose his right to claim the vehicle. Grand Prize winner may also be requested to complete additional forms as requested by the entity providing the vehicle purchase in order to claim their prize. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the vehicle prize with a cash equivalent equal to the approximate [Nissan dealer cost] in the event the prize is unavailable for any reason. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law; and, winners agree to confirm such permission in writing at Sponsor’s request without compensation. Limit one (1) Daily Prize, one (1) Weekly Prize and one (1) Grand Prize per person/household.

5) Random Drawing and Winner Notification: The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on May 1, 2013 at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The Weekly Prize winners will be selected in separate random drawings on May 1, 2013 at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET from among all eligible entries received each week (and previous weeks, if any) during the Sweepstakes Period. The Daily Prize winners will be selected in separate random drawings on May 1, 2013 at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET from among all eligible entries received each day (and previous days, if any) during the Sweepstakes Period. Drawings will be conducted by the Administrator of the Sweepstakes, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Drawings will be conducted at Administrator’s offices in Melville, NY USA. Potential Grand Prize winner and potential Weekly Prize winners will be required (except where prohibited by law) to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form and a Publicity Release (or a Declaration of Compliance for a Canadian winner) within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Daily Prize winners may be required to execute and return an address confirmation form via email within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize may be forfeited. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate selection. If winner is a Canadian resident, he/she must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-based mathematical skill-testing question to be administered via email in order for him/her to be a potential prize winner. Noncompliance may result in disqualification and an alternate eligible entrant being selected. A 1099 tax statement will be filed with the IRS for the Grand Prize winner and Weekly Prize winners (for U.S. winners only).

6) Verification: All potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor or Administrator, and verification of potential winners is final and binding in all matters related to Sweepstakes. In no event will the Sponsor be or obligated to award more than the stated number of prizes. Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.

7) General Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Entries become the property of the Sponsor. The Sponsor and its agencies and Administrator are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Website or the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Website or Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to ownership of any entry, the authorized account holder of the account used to register will be deemed to be the entrant and such person must be eligible for the Sweepstakes as per Rule 2. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the account associated with the entry. Proof of entering information via the Website does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information. The Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or Website may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s/Administrator’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or Website, then the Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion, subject to the approval of the Regie des alcools, des courses et des jeux in Quebec, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select the winner(s) for affected drawing(s) from among all eligible entries received prior to Sponsor’s action or to otherwise make the prize(s) for such affected drawing(s) available to be won in a manner deemed by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on the Website. By participating in the Sweepstakes and accepting the prize, the entrant agrees to hold Sponsor, the Administrator, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, retailers, advertising and promotions agencies, and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees and assigns, members, representatives and agents (collectively, "Releasees"), harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize and Releasees will have no liability whatsoever for and will be held harmless by entrant for any liability for any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, damages sustained due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or participation in the Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes related activity. By entering the Sweepstakes, you hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.

8) Governing Law & Venue: Any and all disputes relating to the running of the Sweepstakes in the U.S. will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the county of Davidson, state of Tennessee in the U.S., exclusively, and subject to the internal, substantive laws of the state of Tennessee in the U.S. Any and all disputes relating to the running of the Sweepstakes in Canada will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Ontario and subject to the laws of Ontario. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version and the French language version of the Sweepstakes Rules, as applicable, the English version shall prevail, govern and control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to the personal jurisdiction of such courts; waive any right of change of venue, forum non conveniens or like right; agree to bring any action regarding the Sweepstakes individually (not as part of a class action); and agree that their recovery shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in participating in the Sweepstakes (if any) and waive any and all damages (including but not limited to compensatory, punitive, consequential or incidental damages) as well as any right to attorneys’ fees. With respect to disputes in the U.S., should there be any conflict between the laws of Tennessee in the U.S. and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the state of Tennessee in the U.S. With respect to any disputes in Canada, should there be any conflict between the laws of Ontario and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favour of the laws of Ontario. For residents of Quebec, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
